| Cassidy Long is 9 years old and in 3rd grade at Ashley Elementary School in Fayetteville, NC. She is the eldest of 3 children, her twin sister Harper and a younger brother Caleb. She loves to learn, is very curious, and reads lots. She is a Brownie Scout, plays baseball, jumps on her pogo stick, and loves animals. She wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. | Rixon Lane is the Junior Class President of Woodruff High School in Woodruff SC, where he plays football and baseball. He has been involved in storytelling for over a decade. He has performed at many festivals and schools. Rixon is a 3-time Torchbearer from the National Youth Storytelling Showcase and appeared as a Youthful Voice at the 2002 National Storytelling Festival.This year he will become the only storyteller who has performed at all three presentations of the Storytelling Festival of Carolina. He won the 17 and under division of the West Virginia Liars' contest in both 2007 and 2008 with original stories. In may 2008, he was a featured student teller at the Tale Spin Festival in Chattanooga, TN. Noah enjoys reading, especially Calvin & Hobbes. He plays baseball and is on a swim team.
