The Storytelling Festival of Carolina is a two-day spectacular with a variety of entertaining
events. Start your inspiring weekend
on Friday afternoon at the John Blue House and Grounds, a Victorian style home built in the 1890's by inventor, farmer and
businessman, John Blue. Tour guides will show you through the home and relate tales told by generations of John Blue's family.
The grounds showcase cabins, a cotton gin and compress and a general store from across the county that were built in the mid
1800's. Across the street is the Museum of Scotland County featuring vintage automobiles, farm equipment, model trains and other
items representative of the county's history. Not far from the John Blue House is Scotland Yard, a wonderful play area for children
of all ages.
Register early on line and take advantage of our discounted "early bird" pricing. There are also discount prices for children, seniors

kinds. The 2008 festival will feature 4 nationally renowned storytellers and published authors. In addition, there will be
